About Sound and Frequencies
Have you ever been in the darkest mood, you know that mood where traffic is at a stand still and the guy in front of you just now pushed his way in at the end after a warning that his lane was going to merge... a mile back. And then your favorite song from years ago comes on the radio and you find yourself, at least for those 2 to 4 minutes, feeling lighter. And maybe even forgetting about the revenge you were plotting on the rude driver. Music and sound can be used to help us feel better, reduce stress, and even inspire us.
It is no secret that sound has a powerful effect on our psyche. There is a science to how it can help us heal and cope with pain, anxiety, and stress. Using instruments or other noise makers can help us relax and improve our overall mental health. Even using our own voice humming to a tune can help us resolve issues. Allowing ourselves to be immersed in sound can provide us with a sense of peace and revitalization. Whether we are listening to music, chanting, or just making noise, sound can be a powerful tool in promoting our wellbeing.
Some excellent resources for learning more about sound, vibration and frequency healings can be found at your local library.
